MOST CHALLENGING ………
Some titles are better left unended. What do you think?
What do you think when you’re sailing offshore and the wily-wise wave rocking your starboard flirts your port with frothy bubbles breathing ‘hey sailor, how far you ever sailed?’
Well, this — among your frothy bubbles and vast expanse — is the farthest I ever sailed, and I’ll hold out just one more day, one day at a time because the waves don’t rock much where it’s deep enough, right?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s bitter-sweet, lemon-sugarcane and what matters is you enjoy it. And I’m alluding to Andela bootcamp day-1. You frown and sweat and grunt when that code doesn’t work for the hundredth time. Then you jubilate when a colleague points out something and it does work. But greedy you!, your’e overjoyed and add more functionality, and the cycle repeats. Agile right? But you keep on keeping on, safe in the assurance you will emerge from this different however.
And it all happens in cycles — learn and unlearn (growth mindset) and do and undo (feedback). And my toughest learning challenge is at the present moment — test code beats pre-week 1 challenge which beats homestudy . And what’s more, my day 2 schedule beats them all!
