Dancing happens in relationships that is, in relation to yourself or with another imagined or real partner. In July 2019, I made a dance together with dancers Irene Gimenez, Nicola Migliorati, Adam Moore, and Ashley Handel for Laban Theatre in London. Never had I thought the movement research and practical takeaways we developed for that show titled Touching from a Distance, would feel so incredibly relevant just a few months later when touching suddenly became forbidden worldwide.
