“Lalisa”, Lisa Blackpink or civically Lisa Manoban (or Panpriya Maoban) revolutionizes Thai music and makes it world famous. In just nine months, her eponymous song “LALISA” made it to over half a million clicks on YouTube and counting. She certainly benefits from the more than 74 million “Blackpink” subscribers, but this success also speaks for Lalisa’s performance as a solo artist.
Thai or South Korean — the main thing on the road to success
As part of the South Korean band Blackpink, Lisa is already known to an audience of millions, even far beyond the borders of Asia — and not just since her collaboration with Lady Gaga. Therefore, the beautiful Thai is doubly successful: on the one hand with your girl band and now also as a solo performer. With the 25th of June around 05:06 local time, Lalisa has managed to do what only a few K-pop performers have been able to do so far: she cracked the 500,000 views mark on YouTube. Thus, the trend that was already apparent after the release of “Lalisa,” pulverizing Taylor Swift’s 2019 record, continued in stunning fashion. With this, Lisa Manobal has made history, but it is by no means history yet. Here springs a multi-talented artist from whom we will certainly hear a lot more. Although her first hit “Money” has already started very promisingly, “Lalisa” tops all records.
Professionally it’s going great — and privately?
Professionally, Lisa is leaving nothing out at the moment. Even after her difficult time in the band a few years ago, when she had enormous problems to be able to sing at all and all the hardships during the Corona pandemic, Lalisa is stronger than ever. So it’s inevitable that one wonders if there’s anything new in her private life. Lisa, however, remains silent about this. She is certainly very busy at work and is currently just enjoying riding the wave of success and taking all the positive vibes with her, but her fans would still like to know if there could be someone.
There could probably be many. Who wouldn’t want to go out with the beautiful rapper? But, Lisa doesn’t comment on it, or maybe she really doesn’t date anyone. Contacts she should have enough, but with a solo career and the work in and with the band she seems satisfied for now and also completely busy.

Lalisa combines everything a young, successful woman likes to do. Fashion, Livestyle and good music are exactly what distinguishes her and what the fans of her and also of the band Blackpink like so much. Therefore, she stands for an emerging Thailand that opens up to the world and can be more than just a beautiful vacation destination. Especially with her band Blackpink — in which she is the only non-Korean member — Lisa Manoban is a pioneer for an Asia that is internationally successful without losing its roots. Whether as a rapper, hip-hop artist, or even as a style icon, she embodies — with her bandmates, but also on her own — that success can be achieved with hard work and talent, and yet it takes more than just the two factors. Therefore, social media, but also we, will continue to follow her path. And who knows, maybe she will reveal something one day, about the man of her heart — who will definitely exist sooner or later. We are already excited today to hear new, whether music or otherwise, it remains exciting around the beautiful Thai.
