An ultimate rebellion would have been Jesus walking away from all those who recognized him, vanishing into thin air to escape the need for politics in his life. By doing so, he would have rebelled against the very idea of himself, free from the weight of the people, and shown them that they do not need him. Now, imagine ordinary people adopting the same attitude: individualist virtue would proliferate, and personal impeccability would take center stage in everything—faith, intention, willpower, you name it. Instead, people waited for his return, sought to rebel against some authority, or complained about inadequate representation, perpetuating the same old psychology.

I seek meaning in writing: old, new print, poetry, allegories, tales, absurdism, satire, existentialism, and anything well-crafted. Dystopian fic is alluring!
