Untethered today I wail invain

Waiting to be torn by winds of change

You held me once close to your beat

And now you swear never to repeat

Undone today I hoped to regain

My sanity in what we found again

Within our hearts love does prevail

And now I’m told it was a known mistake

Untamed today the heart seeks direction

To beat or to not, neither purpose nor perception

Live to lose love, and find our own fate
