Burma Dilema

Question:1

1998 Burma got independence from United kingdom. Burma was declared as democratic state mean it would be responsible to answer to people but nationalists took control at all state. They all have control on police and military. The ignored ethnic and minorities. Protests and revolution took palace in.

Question:2

Government is not exercising the effective control over all territoryI because in recently report people of state are killing by the military. Many people are migrated from many states of Burma such as Rohingya and Myanmar. More than 730000 people migrated from Rakhine state to Bangladesh in 2018. Government not allowed investigators to enter in this region and Journalists are punished which entered in this region. United Nations called the leader Aun San Suu kyi under human right in international law and advice him to identify the genocide and solve the problem but government refused it with some excuses such as weak judiciary. Nearly 30000 civilians killed in Rakhine state by 2018. So how you can say that Government is effectively ruled on state.

The state first responsibility is to protect the human rights. The human rights are those things which directly affect human living style. But in case of Burma it is in opposite direction because government of Burma failed to protect. The main thing is security of people which have threats from it’s own government. Janta party was failed due it’s policies. People of Burma need help Economy was under threat due to internal conflicts. People do not enjoy freedom completely due it’s military. People are forced to live in fear. The people of Burma fighting for space and security for over six years which is basic right of them. State should respect the human rights. David kaufman said that Burma’s government should work for economy and security of people.

Question:4

State is not protecting the security of the people because you saw that at time of independence military took all control of state and ignore the results of elections. In which it cleared that there is not any value of people opinion and democracy failed. On other hand now a days people are leaving the state due to it’s own security forces. The are migrating to other states. So conclusion is that government has failed to give human rights to people.
