Eliminate Procrastination This Way
Many people view failure as something that they did not do well in. How do you view failure? Maybe it’s getting that lower grade that you did not want. Or Perhaps it’s not getting the result that you wanted. I view failure as giving up. Once you give up, you lose.
I strongly believe that when we fail we grow. However, I want to be specific in this because if you fail on the same task every single day and you learn nothing from it then you fail. The way winners are born according to the movie Rocky Balboa, “It not about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That is how winning gets done!”
How much time are you dedicating every single day to move forward in life? For me, I give myself tasks. I have daily goals and it keeps my mind focused on what I want to achieve. When I am in the moment, I try to be in the moment rather than focusing on other things. I let go of the others things in my life and just solely focus on the task that lays before me.
Focus. Is the central thing that you need to give your 110% effort. It is not about worrying about what other people think. It is not thinking about yesterday or tomorrow. Focus means; Finding Once Course Until Success. Where do you want to go? Have you thought about what it is in life that you want?
For me, life is about giving. Life is about helping others and serving others. This is why I love leadership so much because true leadership comes from a heart that is willing to serve. I want to serve you. I want to continuously provide you with amazing content daily. Join the “Motivation Daily Newsletter” here you will receive amazing content daily.
I used to live a life where I would compare myself to others. I thought that I was not good enough. Have you ever felt that you were not good enough? We all have something that is called the imposter syndrome which essentially comes from a lack of confidence.
The only person you should compare yourself to is you yesterday. When you are doing a task ask yourself three things.
Have I given it my 110% effort?
Am I doing better than yesterday?
How can I improve and make it better?
Thinking about these questions will help put you in the right mindset. I like to call the right mindset a mindset of growth. When you have a mindset of growth, you will begin to start tasks immediately. What is a mindset of growth? It is about finding the opportunity in everything. It is about looking at the cup half full. It is about not limiting you, rather it is about growing. It is changing the simple statement to a positive question; from I can’t to how can I?
