You might have 600 hours, but you still made a rookie mistake when it comes to Verm. Don’t play for loot.

Verm vet here. I play Verm since June 2016. Got 1400 hours of Vermintide 1, 500 hours of Vermintide 2.

So I am certain I can give you some advice. I too sometimes struggle with Verm2. It could’ve been SO much more. But it is what it is, and it will be soon what we all hope it already should be. It will be a really, really good coop game by the end of the year. Fatshark will improve the game, they will remove it’s flaws. Someday. 100%. But their management is still garbage.

So, to put it clear, once again: Don’t play for loot, XP or similar (extrinsic rewards). You will get burned out. Ranald’s Gift is still R N G. Your motivation has to be 100% intrinsic if you decide to play Verm as a hobby (instead of casual).

Try to get 0 damage taken in a Legend run. Try a true solo run on the modded realm. Play some deeds. Get some nice cosmetics from Okri’s Challenges. Make up challenges for yourself that gives you that feeling of accomplishment you look for.

What this includes: Don’t pick up tomes or grims. You don’t need those to get red items anyway.

Actually, I have a challenge for you. Legend Skittergate, do a triple deed with melee only.

And yes, been there, done that.

Melee only: Skittergate Legend, No Pickups/HBFS/Sudden Death
