What helped me cut back after realising it’s too much was to have an exit trigger. So you allow yourself to check your feed, but before you do you make an escape plan. That could be “I’ll close the app after I scrolled through 15 posts” or “I’ll stop after I clicked a link and read something interesting/uplifting” (uplifting/motivational is especially good when you want to link the exit to start being productive, read a book or whatever).
