Immunity to such shaming enforcement is a choice, not a dependency on gender. This actually shows how full of themselves and self opiniated women are—like no one can criticise them or else its the end of the world,or rather, they’d make it sound like a human rights violation.Whereas boys seem pretty much subdued,to the point of abiding by it blindly. If u ask me,i’d say the boys are being shamed more—the fact that they may be hurt by the enforcement but feel compelled to bite back their tears and just suck it up,while girls just let it all flow and then after the incident even dare to slander the enforcer as being a body shamer, its just so unfair and disgraceful.
In my workplace women are allowed to wear miniskirts, but not a single guy is seen in shorts.I challenged conventions and wore a pair of formal shorts with my shirt to work on a holiday eve,and got told by my superior not to dress like that.Outwardly i have to act like i accepted the verdict and took it in my stride, but inwardly,do u think i dont feel hurt, that i dont feel that my body or dressing style is being insulted upon? Why is my leg exposure being denied any form of dignity, while that of a woman in the office gets to have her way 365 days of a year?
