In Australia, though, there are places where the arrow traffic light is used to turn right or left in both sides before the main light is open to allow the rest of the cars to move forward.
That light stays open just for a while to allow cars to turn and not have to wait the ones that move forward. If the traffic is heavy, the wait can last longer.
There’s no such a thing in Brazil.
