Don’t be selective, stand for human rights as a matter of principle not as a tool to advance your own political sectarian agendas.

As someone who was raised in a Sushi (Sunni and Shia) City called Baghdad and have many friends from both sides, it’s really sad to see them conflicting all the freaking time over basic things, when you are oppressed, you don’t side with oppressors, even if the oppressors are in your own “group”, if you side with oppressors in your own group but condemn the others for being oppressors, you are not a human rights activist, you are a tribal hypocrite and a moron.

Someone needs to end this cycle of conflict.

Why someone has to be pro Iran to defend the right of religious minorities in Saudi Arabia, and why someone has to be pro Saudi to defend religious minorities in Iran?

Don’t be selective, stand for human rights as a matter of principle not as a tool to advance your own political sectarian agendas.
