Daniel’s prayer

‭‭Daniel's prayer

Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name.

We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.

Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.” (Daniel 9:18-19 )

Daniel was not great because he prayed.

He was great because his prayer was the necessary expression of great trust and dependence on God.

Our posture matters alot when we pray.

We achieve nothing when our prayers is not rooted in goodness and righteousness...

Daniel sensed God’s openness to each request and he responded with many rapid requests.

When the Church of God cannot take ‘No’ for an answer, she shall not have ‘No’ for an answer.

A pleading soul must have it; when the Spirit of God works mightily in him.

Jacob pressed on so that he could not let the angel go without blessing him,

The angel did not go till he had given the blessing to such a pleading soul.

Brethren, if there be only one among us that can pray as Daniel did, with intensity, the blessing will come.”

This is that time that we need to pray like Daniel...let's pray with intensity and repent on behalf of our nation.
