The Reason That I Came Back To Medium
After long times of wandering, I chose the Medium finally. For few years, I have experienced most of the blog stuffs in Korean or English language. Yes, it can be almost from A to Z. (If I make a list, you might nod and say “Yes, I know.”) As an early adopter, there is nothing to be left behind. If I find something new, I need to use it in curiosity. For the reference, I have two blogs already, one for Korean (Egloos), and another for Japanese (Ameba). Each of these has separated kinds of purposes without duplicates in different language. And Medium will become my 3rd place for English soon.
To me, many blog sites were difficult to use. In some sites, I didn’t know how to embed some social media icons on my blog. And in the other sites, organizing categories were so inconvenience so I had to find the solution with googling. Well, category is not a big concern right now because Medium doesn’t have it. Anyway, at the first time, I wanted to create same duplicates with my Korean blog so categorizing was a sort of mandatory. And in addition to, templets or design did not satisfy me because of the promotion of the particular topic like showing the image of parenting or flower.
And in the past, I used to share my stories(pastime) on blog. It can be pretty cool to the others, but in the other hand, there was too much backbone. My father pointed out several times and I was hurt by it. It was because I could look strange to others because my thoughts and feelings which can be changed anytime were spontaneous. So I decided not to repeat my mistakes again.
Based on these two facts, I can emphasize that 1. Simple Posting Environments and 2. A Path to a Professional Writer. From March of last year, I have been studying Reading and Writing in continuing education. These days, I almost stand on the edge because a big assignment was done and rests are a sort of a miniature edition of it. Beginning in my 13th grade, I had thought that writing and me had a relationship that could not be apart, except for the days of the music student. Many times I have heard that I have been very talented in writing, but I couldn’t developed this early in my life because of a passion for music. If I could, I might have lived a better life than now.
But when I think that I am late, it’s a desperate moment for me to seize the opportunity. It would be difficult to run three blogs simultaneously, but I would like to activate each feature alive. And still, it seems that there are plenty of mistakes, but if I keep writing, I believe that I will be able to improve my (language and writing) skills.
I didn’t decide the subject for Medium yet, but I think that it can be life, music, and books as bio says. (but not 100% sure, as hands demand)
