In Person Drop

Firstly I felt hesitation doing this. I have always been a reserved person. I felt uncomfortable to talk with annoying person. I didn’t talk anyone clearly. I want to overcome before going to my professional life. So I decided that I have to do it at any cost and I knew that it will be reduced only through practice. I searched about service Industries Limited; I saw the different websites and annual reports of service Industries Limited and searched about different Human Resource Managers. I saw the management team and its vision and mission statement. Through research I came to knew that it is listed in the stock exchange of Pakistan. Service Industries Limited is the largest manufacturer and exporter of footwear and motor cycle tyres in the country with a revenue RS 17545 crore ($1.7 billion).

I searched the Service Industries Limited website and the email address of the HR Recruiter email address so that there I sent my resume and cover letter online. I customize my resume and cover letter according to the finance officer job I sent a resume and cover letter through email. Through mail I tell the HR that I want to drop the resume personally.

The next day I and my friend went to the company for personally drop the resume and cover letter. The gate keeper allows us to enter into the company. The gatekeeper allow us to enter because in that company I done an internship there for 6 weeks. Then I told the receptionist for coming the reason. Then he calls to the HR recruiter Miss Sidra Cheema. We wait her for coming, she came after 10 minutes. She seemed to us happy because she knew me. After greeting we gave her a resume and cover letter and show interest and passion about that company. I told her that I really want to joint this company. She said if any job or vacancy is available she will be contact us. We took a tee there and after that I visit the internal audit department where I did my internship. I met the collages and employees o IAD department.

This is really helpful for me because there I learnt more about the company information. The HR visit us to the sales, marketing and export department. . After spending sometime there we came back. Through this activity I faced no difficulty. Overall it’s the best way to apply for job anywhere that you must someone in personal.
