Education on four wheels….

I was gazing at the green farms, when a man stops by asking if i could read him the address written on a small crumpled piece of paper. The writing was so light that i could hardly read it. Anyhow, i managed to read it and explained him the address. Returning him the paper, i asked if he couldnt read it due to eyesight or what.

He replied: beta, meri nazar kamzor nai hai….mjhay parhna nai ata!

Hearing that i thought to myself, how amazing it would be if we were a literate nation. How amazing it would be if our government provided free education up to primary level to all, where only rich were not just literate, the poors could also read and write. Even the poors could give a better future to their kids.

SOLUTION:

For making education free of cost for the poor, mobile schools can be setup in various villages where setting an infrastructure is out of question for there is no electricity in these villages. A van that has chairs for the kids to sit in, a white board, small electric fans installed inside and a teacher who would spend 5 hours daily in educating the kids with the basic things first and then later syllabus would be designed. Residents of those villages will be called upon for sending their child for studies on regular basis if they want to give a shining and better future to their kids.

however, funds will be raised and all the expenses will be beard by the people who are willing to be a part of this noble cause.
