Cynophobia ‌is the fear of dogs. This phobia can interfere with daily life and can cause serious physical and emotional distress.It’s just like feeling uncomfortable with barking or being around dogs.

Symptoms :

1.trouble breathing.
2.rapid heart rate.
3.pain or tightness in your chest.
4.shaking or trembling.
5.dizziness or lightheadedness.
6.upset stomach.
7.hot or cold flashes.
8.sweating.
9.Nausea.
10.A feeling of danger.
11.Fear of losing control.
12.A fear of dying.
13.A sense of things being unreal.
14.Excessive avoidance or anxiety.

Causes :

1: Traumatic experiences:For example, someone may develop a fear of dogs after being attacked by one.
2: ‌Family tendencies: Either genetics or environment can play a role in the development of phobias. If someone in your family has a phobia, you are more likely to develop it as well.
3:‌‌ Changes in brain function: Some people appear to develop phobias as a result of neurological disorders or physical trauma.

Treatment :

Not all phobias require treatment by your doctor. When the fear becomes so intense that you avoid parks or other situations where you might encounter dogs, there are a variety of options available. Treatment includes things like therapy like exposure therapy or taking certain medications.
