It’s not uncommon that the characters we adore and connect with in fiction have characteristics that communicate to what we experiences in real life, considering that the world is full of individuals with various personalities and peculiarities. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is one such element that often goes unnoticed or misinterpreted (ADHD). When we dive deeper into the details of narratives, we find that some characters have traits that link with the traits of ADHD. In this search, we’ll examine five fictional individuals who display behaviors that, whether stated directly or indirectly implied, push the question: do they have ADHD?.

Now as someone who have ADHD too. Here are 5 famous characters who I think may have ADHD

1. Michelangelo

Michelangelo also known as Mikey is not at all underrated and is well known as the funniest and goofy character among the four turtles yet a awesome fighter. But the reason why I personally think Mikey may have ADHD is due to his hyper activeness he is often seen messing up with his brothers during serious missions and goofing around here and there. He is also shown to zone out a lot multiple times . He lacks skills of organising we can see how messy his room is. He is often sometimes sensitive to criticism. Mikey easily gets distracted by a lot of things he also acts before thinking which causes problems. Many people may see him as dumb but that is really not the case I may think he has ADHD.

2. Anna

Anna we all know our beloved Princess from Frozen and the sister of Queen Elsa. Anna is known to be quite hyperactive and very goofy. She is quite impulsive. She doesn’t always pay attention to her surroundings like when she was singing and got hit by Han’s horse. Anna also doesn’t always think before committing any actions like when she threw a snowball on a snow monster. She is also very emotional. But after all she always saves the day.

3. Horrid Henry

There is a prevalent fan theory suggesting that Henry suffers from ADHD. Henry is a very talented boy who comes through many creative ideas in different situations but lacks in studies and every subject. He rarely forces on studies and literally anything that doesn’t interests him. He is very sensitive to criticism and especially when his parents compare him to his younger brother Peter . Henry is also seem to have wild imaginations he also hyper focus on the stuff he really loves doing.

4. Beast Boy

Beast Boy is very impulsive. We can often see he fidgets a lot and zones out of the conversations. He is hyperactive especially with cyborg. He rarely organise his room. He also have loads of Energy every single time. He also tends to forget things easily

5. Alvin Seville

There is no way you don’t know who Alvin id. The lead singer of the most well known Virtual Band of all time Alvin and the chipmunks. Now if you have seen the movies and shows. Alvin is known as a troublemaker and a brat who always brings trouble for poor Dave. He is shown as a very immature boy with low grades and a very bad atention span. But he loves sports and puts his whole focus on it he just isn’t a fan of studying which describes people with ADHD. They tend to fully focus more on their favourite things rather than the things they don’t like

6. Monkey D. Luffy

Now this is a debate but here me out. Luffy does sort of seem like ADHD coded. He many times doesn’t focus on every detail and often drifts away from his main focus and thinks about food and meat. He is also hyperactive and mostly does things without a plan. Luffy is also a easy laid back kind of a guy who doesn’t let stress take over him.
