Interior Design In A Simple Way

Since a long time ago, interior design has been a part of our lives. Interior design also evolves with the changing times to adapt to the changing needs of people from time to time.

What is interior design?

“Interior design is planning the layout and designing of interior space in the building to aims functional improvements, aesthetic enrichment dan psychological enhancement of the room.”

Francis D. K. Ching

Yes, the interior design simply means designing interior space. It aims to achieve functional improvements, aesthetic enrichment, and pay attention to the psychological aspect of its users in the room.

Interior design pays attention and explores how the user uses the room or the building. All of the user activities and habits in the room that they use will be responded to by assumptions, analytics, designs, and the final results in the form of the design that will be applied to the room or the building.

Space becomes one of the important aspects of the building because a room consists of space forming elements that are: wall, floor, and ceiling. That space forming elements are the part to form the building constructions so that be able to stand strong.

Three main things become the part to form the room as a whole, besides that three things the other support elements are aesthetic, airflow, and light. Every element has a role in each other to create a room that supports every activity on the inside. The elements are included in several things that are considered when designing so as that create conformity, comfort, and safety for its user.

So, it can be concluded that interior design is designing the room by paying attention to function, aesthetical enrichment, and psychology so as that create conformity, comfort, and safety for its user.
