Despite what you may know about “Liver King” he has a way of living that most of us aren’t doing, and it shows. The ancestral tenants (made famous by Liver King) are a set of principles that are believed to be passed down from one’s ancestors and are often considered to be important for maintaining cultural traditions and values. These tenants may vary depending on the specific culture or community, but some common themes that may be included are:

  1. Respect: Respect for one’s ancestors and for the traditions and values that they passed down is often considered to be a key aspect of the ancestral tenants. This may include showing respect for elders, ancestors, and community leaders, as well as for cultural traditions and practices.
  2. Responsibility: Many cultures place a strong emphasis on the importance of taking responsibility for oneself and for one’s actions, and this is often seen as a key aspect of ancestral tenants. This may include being responsible for one’s own well-being, as well as for the well-being of others in the community.
  3. Community: The ancestral tenants often place a strong emphasis on the importance of community and the role that each individual plays in supporting and contributing to the community as a whole. This may include participating in community activities and events and working together to support one another.
  4. Tradition: Many cultures value tradition and the importance of preserving cultural practices and values for future generations. The ancestral tenants may include a focus on preserving and passing down cultural traditions, and on maintaining a connection to one’s cultural heritage.
  5. Spirituality: For many cultures, the ancestral tenants may include a focus on spirituality and the role that this plays in one’s life. This may include the importance of participating in spiritual practices and rituals, and of maintaining a connection to one’s spiritual beliefs and traditions.

In addition to these themes, the ancestral tenants may also include a focus on family and the importance of maintaining strong family bonds, as well as on personal growth and development. Adhering to the ancestral tenants is often seen as a way of honoring and respecting one’s ancestors and cultural heritage, and of maintaining a sense of identity and connection to one’s community. Maintaining strong family bonds can be important for personal growth and development in a number of ways. Some of the benefits of having strong family connections include:

  1. Emotional support: Family members can provide emotional support and a sense of belonging, which can be particularly important during times of stress or hardship. Having a strong support system can help individuals feel more secure and confident in their ability to handle challenges.
  2. Role models: Family members, particularly parents and older siblings, can serve as role models and provide guidance and mentorship as individuals navigate their own personal and professional development.
  3. Sense of identity: Family connections can help individuals develop a sense of identity and a sense of belonging to a larger community. This can be particularly important for young people as they navigate their own sense of self and their place in the world.
  4. Emotional intelligence: Strong family bonds can help individuals develop important social and emotional skills, such as communication, empathy, and problem-solving. These skills can be valuable in all areas of life, including personal relationships, work, and other social interactions.
  5. Mental and physical health: Research has shown that having strong family connections can have a positive impact on mental and physical health. Individuals with strong family bonds may be more likely to have lower rates of depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues, and may also have better physical health outcomes.
