PR-Book ‘Murder on the Orient Express’
It’s Aleksei again and now I’m going to share my new impressions with you!!!
At last, I finished reading Murder on the Orient Express and, Oh my God, I was shocked. The plot is spelled out literally perfectly. Nothing to find fault with. The most seemingly insignificant moments from the first chapters play a key role in understanding the ending. Well-written characters deserve special attention. The author prescribes each individual story, and also crosses them at the end. It’s a stroke of genius, isn’t it? In addition to character traits and motives, the author emphasizes that these are people of different nationalities, although if they were less diverse ethnically, this would not prevent the plot . Why does the author focus on their nationalities just when it becomes clear that all of them are either from America, or are somehow related to it?
I think it’s a hidden symbol. I found here a parallel with The American melting pot-a hint that people of different nationalities live and work in America. In truth, the main character even paid attention to it a couple of times. Although this has no important relation to the plot, it may have been done to show how fate is not accidental. But maybe this was the reason why people were able to work together to complete the plan
But maybe this was a secondary reason why people managed to cooperate in order to carry out the plan (the first, of course, was the murder of a familiar child)
I have already recommended the book to my parents and friends. I believe that such a work can be called a genius and that everyone should read it.
