The Pomodoro technique teaches us to work with time, instead of struggling against it. It can help you power through distractions and get things done in short times.

The technique requires a timer, and it allows you to break down your large complex task into manageable intervals. Once you break your work into focused time blocks, you can manage it for the rest of time allocated for it.

Its a famous technique to prevent from procrastination, procrastination is basically a fear to facing the difficult things, we use it to avoid to face that things which we found difficult, its a false pleasure, and its also effects us badly, lower our energy, makes us lazy, lower our productivity. So it is very important to overcome on it, and pomodoro technique is most useful to overcome procrastination.

pomodoro technique can increase our productivity and make our things done even in half time, if we follow the rules strictly that it really can helpful for us to complete our task in short time. Rather then facing panic attacks when we know that now its deadline, its better to manage our time in a healthy way, that makes us better and can make of efficient.

I also have habit of procrastination, so I have planned to use this pomodoro technique to getting my things done in short time, and in productive and efficient way, I take following steps to work with this technique.

1st: I have listed that task in my mind which I want to do.

2nd: Then try to identify how much time I required for that task.

3rd: Manage my time slots. and keep my cellphone away.

4th: Told my family that I am working on something so don’t disturb me for that time slot.

1st task: I set the timer of 1 hour for preparing my test, which is on the next day, and I almost done before the timer rings.

Break for 10 minutes

2nd task: I set a timer of 25 minutes try to solve some questions which my university fellow gives me to solve and help her.

break of 5 minutes

3rd task: I started search of regarding to my thesis topic, which my supervisor suggest me to do, and I have done this task in 30 minutes before the timer rings.

break of 5 minutes,

4th task: I Have to write this blog in 30 minutes and I have done it.

break for 25,30 minutes.

So I experienced if we put some efforts to getting things done, then we can do it. Yes this schedule can be hectic for a while but remembering that this little hectic time can save our more time, and also we attain relaxation that we have done our work on time.
