Nephilim: What in the World Happened to the Biblical 12 Foot Plus Giants ?-Fari Magdala
Nephilim were giants in the earth according to biblical accounts. What ever happened to these Biblical giants?
Genesis 6:4 KJV
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
So, these were “ sons of God “ who came unto the daughters of men, had sex with women and bore giant children. Although, the report from many in Christian-dom is that these “sons of God “ were actually men, not demons, fallen angels or super beings. But nevertheless, what happened to these giants?
Yes, the Nephilim, Biblical giants did pop up after the flood. Genesis 6:4 gives an account which says Genesis 6:4 “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days — and also afterward.” When the Israelites sent their spies into Canaan, they gave Moses their account in Numbers 13:33: “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them”.
According to the Bible, all the “giants” were totally wiped out by the Israelites during their invasion of Canaan:
Joshua 11:21–22 (NKJV)
21 And at that time Joshua came and cut off the Anakim from the mountains: from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel; Joshua utterly destroyed them with their cities. 22 None of the Anakim were left in the land of the children of Israel; they remained only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod.

The Anakim appear in several scriptures as giants living in Canaan at the during Exodus.
How big were some of these giants? The Book of Deuteronomy gives clues. Deuteronomy 3: 11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the giants [rephaim]. Indeed his bedstead was an iron bedstead. (Is it not in Rabbah of the people of Ammon?) Nine cubits is its length and four cubits its width, according to the standard cubit.
A standard cubit is said to be 18 inches long. So, it looks like Og, the giant slept in a bed that was probably 13.5 feet long and 6 feet wide. Wow! If this giant of a man was to stand up straight, he would have been 13 feet tall. That’s twice the size, plus of a man 6 feet tall. Amazing!
