Practicing Happiness to boost your success

Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being which can be defined by, among others, positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. I personally believe that “Happiness is the key to success”


In his TED talk, How beautifully Shawn Achor describes the concept of happiness and how it helps to achieve our goals. If you have not watched it have an eye on it. Shawn Achor TED Talk.

Mostly I try to think positively, but sometimes it tends my mind to think negatively that make me anxious internally. But when these negative thinking make my mind half empty and I tend to be a fixed mind. It affects my productivity, it do not let me to think outside the box.

At the end of this week, I was unable to submit my project work in time. My mind was just stuck in thinking that how to submit it as early as possible? For two days, my mind could not do any productive work. I had a lot of exams and project work pressure but despite it I did not gave up it. When I started my project work, I came across with the Positive thinking principals of Amal and by Shawn Achor. They boosted me up to release this stress. There are 3 Amal and 5 Shawn Achor principals.

I applied all of the Amal and 2 of Shawn Achor (Gratitude, Random act of kindness) to overcome my stress. These were really helped me in such a way that I reduce my stress and easily completed my Project Work at weekend and now feeling relaxed and I am Happy. :)
