Changing Mac OS X Terminal Shell

By default, Mac comes with Bash Shell on Terminal. It is relatively easy to change the shell type.

1. Launch System Preferences (click the icon -> System Preferences)
2. Go to Users & Groups

3. Right click on the user to modify and select Advanced Options

4. Change your Login Shell and Press Ok to save

That’s it, then launch Terminal again to see the updated shell.
