This is a collection of 9500 NFTs with a trading volume of 718 ETH so far. The floor price is still easy to enter ie. 0.03 eth and is owned by 1900 individual wallets so far. This is for sure one of the best Music NFT projects. The collection has 3000 items till date. And for sure, it carries one of the best and meaningful music tracks in the world of NFT music streaming. The floor price is still very decent to enter and there has been a traded volume of 698 ETH till date. There seems to be some good effort put behind creating the collection with numerous traits. Ebay, the E-commerce company, has launched a collection of popular NFTs for sale featuring Wayne Gretsky, the National Hockey Legend in the United States. The NFT listing was created on eBay and was available on Monday. eBay’s NFT features Wayne Gretsky in an animated avatar that takes inspiration from the cover of popular sports magazine “Sports Illustrated” . The limited edition NFTs were minted in four separate tiers namely green, gold, platinum and diamond. With diamond being the rarest of all. A total of 613 NFTs were minted and listed on the marketplace. The floor price of the NFTs starts at just $25 and the price goes up to $1500 for the diamond and other top tiers. $1,500 and $100 respectively. The Popular NFTs for sale were sold out in a few hours. EBay partnered with OneOf, the NFT platform that focuses on creating blockchain products on energy efficient blockchain protocols. One Of builds solutions like NFT marketplaces by identifying energy efficient technologies and blockchain protocols around the world, supports & promotes them by creating scalable products that consumers can use with minimal footprint on the environment.
One of OneOf’s sustainable goals is to create a platform to create sustainable NFT collections for a wider community adoption. Ebay within its marketplace, enabled listing of Non-Fungible Tokens early last year, but just like a regular product, the NFTs can be listed on the platform. Unlike other NFTs such as Opensea, Rarible etc, the eBay platform hasn’t integrated supporting blockchain protocols till now. For a variety of reasons, the integration hasn’t happened yet one of them could be security concerns that the integrity of the marketplace’s code could be compromised. Even now, when a user purchases an NFT, they get an email with the link to claim the NFT on another platform built by OneOf. Ebay used layer 2 blockchain protocol Polygon to mint the NFTs and since polygon is supported on marketplaces like Opensea, Rarible they can be listed on the respective marketplaces to sell it or they can HODL it sell it whenever they like. Secondary trade for the NFTs on OneOf has been minimal so far, however, with only three users listing platinum tiered tokens at a floor price of $199, while one user has listed a gold tier NFT for $69.
Dawn Block, eBay’s vice president of collectibles said that NFT is changing the way people look at digital assets & collectibles. He also said that eBay is working to bring NFTs to mainstream users and to a greater degree make it affordable to get a wider pool of onboarded onto digital asset ownership. It is worthy to mention that OneOf is a green Web 3 company.
