U.S. Has Highest Incarceration Rate in the World
Trickle up economics leaves millions of people with no resources to leverage (diploma, work history, assets). Below livable wages and unemployment fuel frustration, hunger, disenfranchisement and result in desperation crimes.
It is almost unanimously common among the high-earning to hoard. Many we have researched, that show evident proof of earnings well over $25,000/month, mostly speak of increasing their earnings as their main daily focus. This problem needs mature oversight, because we are torturing and wasting a large portion of our society.
These financially-all-set individuals have no problem posting bail in cash for even heavy charges. Is that Just?
Simple and obvious policies like reinvesting the upper third of wealthy people’s ‘earnings’ to fund human reclamation (schools, proper home environments, food, eldercare) would be logical and prudent.
While some people are leveraging millions to build their ideal empire, great talent and precious people resources are being wasted. Emotional, mental and physical suffering is incurred dragging down efficiency, productivity, safety and happiness levels, while the middle class drains either up into exponential riches or down into exponential poverty and problems.
Social Reform must pay for the costs associated with reforming it. These amounts of money and influence are out of reach for 95% of the public. A the top % obviously doesn’t feel the pain.
A money system that negates Ethics doesn’t work socially, politically or environmentally. Only a non-profit democracy makes any sense, we need to expand the me and my pack mentality, into the global community mentality to have any real safety, peace and satisfaction in this world.

There are many solutions to this problem and most of them directly relate to fixing an unfair economic system of have-to-much and have-nots.

When we compare what a person looks like coming into court in their Sunday best after a couple weeks of exemplary actions, versus coming in in hand and ankle cuffs, we see that the idea of the Fair Trial could be easily biased by perceptions… something most judges use.
