Pomodoro is a technique for completing a task on time by setting a time slot that how much time you will be able of working and how much time you will take a break to relax and after completing that task you will reward yourself by doing or giving something to yourself which you like to have. This is an effective technique and mostly people uses it to complete their daily tasks on time but some people didn’t find it much useful because they have their own specific way of working.

Though “Eat that frog with a Pomodoro” is a project which was assigned to me by Amal Academy I completed it by deciding what task I want to complete and sets a time slot of 25 minutes of working on it and then took a break of 5 minutes I repeated this process for 4 times and completed my task. I decided to read an article which was “5 steps to creating a productive mind" by Graham Young a guest writer though I found this article helpful to increase the productivity of mind that how should I tackle the situation which gets out of control sometimes or how to think positive in every situation this task includes following points or 5 steps to creating a productive mind:

1- Remember your brain is tricking you.

2-The compound effect

3-How to say no.

4-Admit that you are likely bad at time estimation.

5-Schedule a buffer zone.

So, for me continuous reading or stick to a task is very difficult that I get irritated by doing it continuously and if I starts reading an article or any other thing I delay it for a long time and couldn’t able to complete it on time so, I used this technique “Pomodoro” to finish my task on time. I sets an alarm of 25 minutes and starts reading it during this many distractions pops up in my mind like a random thinking of having some food etc or by my surroundings but I ignore it by declaring it a distraction and when alarm rings I stoped and took a 5 minutes break and and then started it again during my 2nd time I started engaged myself into that article’s learnings and the level of distraction becomes lower and when the alarm rings I took 5 minutes break after that I started doing it for the 3rd time now at this level the level of distraction becomes more lower that I am not thinking about anything which I am not doing except that task which I am doing at that time I started to note down the important points of the article and continue reading it and after the ring of alarm I took 5 minutes break and then I did it for 4th time or last time because my task was going to complete at this level so I don’t needed to schedule more time but if I needed so, I will take a long break of 15 to 20 minutes and then I will start again because our mind needs to refresh. So, in the 4th time I was so happy that I am completing my task with such an efficiency which I was not able to do in the past and then I did it.

This technique really proved helpful for me I will incorporate it in my future tasks as well.
