…nally, think that a candidate’s character is as important, if not more important, than many issues. If the candidate is amoral, juvenile, and vile, he has no business being in office, no matter what his position may be on platform issues. But, that is my opinion as a voter and perhaps yours is different.

But this is the point of the article. His character has been no secret from the start of the campaign, and he’s still going to be president. That’s exactly what she’s saying. It’s not enough to know his character and put it into the public eye.
