5 surprising lessons I learned from Buddhist nuns about dating and relationships
Jessica Semaan

Excellent piece! Thank you for sharing.

Since I started practicing Buddhism my relationships have become much healthy, largely because of the work I do on myself as a result, without expectations of others’ filling in my emotional needs.

The first thing I said to my now wife in the moment we realised there was mutual attraction was: May I never think I know who you are.

The flexibility practice gives me allows me to let people be themselves, free of my expectations. This sort of love is so genuine it is limitless and immeasurable.
