The dark side of extreme productivity, and how to steer back toward the light
Beau Carnes

I love what you said about workaholism and hard work. I love my job. I absolutely love to code. Like a musician loves to play and a craftsman loves to craft. Well, what am I if not a craftsman myself anyway?

So I don’t understand when people say “you work too much”. I’m playing! I’m having fun! I’m loving it!

Workaholism to me is thinking whatever you think you have to do must be done now and everything else is second. That’s addiction. That’s sick.
