Are you a beginner who wants to start a career in design?

There are basic design rules that a beginner must follow for effectual and attractive composition.

A design is a plan or specification for the construction of an object or system or for the implementation of an activity or process or the result of that plan or specification in the form of a prototype, product, or process.

Use complementary colours

Do not choose or mix colors as you please. Colors are either complementary or they are not. Different colours appeal to different emotions and how you can mix them can either make or break your design. Using too many colors makes your design very unattractive.

Be consistent with your design elements

To ensure a smooth and concise design, you’re not allowed to use too many styles because it will send mixed signals to the users. You can use repeated patterns and elements anytime you can. This will establish trust with your users and create an enjoyable experience for the users.

Use proper text hierarchy

Always begin with a large title which should be the page’s most noticeable element in order to make the information hierarchy on the page clear to the reader. Text in other places such as sub headers should be much smaller. Ensure your blocks of texts are well seperated and use adequate spacing.

Use lots of space to visually seperate various pieces of information and little room to connect related information.
