Razer Viper Mini
In this article, we are going to the Razor product and that is Razer Viper Mini gaming mouse. It is the favorite choice of PC gamers because the Viper Mini Weight is ultra-lightweight, Razer Viper Mini Size is small and it comes with a competitive price. If you are want to buy this mouse so please read this article because we are discussing the good and bad features of this mouse.
In past bad experiences with Razor, I stopped buying and recommending the Razor products. But now as I said earlier that it is the favorite choice of every gamer so I decided to give you a detailed review of this mouse.
So let’s start
Box:
Razzor products box is not changed too much and on the front with some features, the mouse pic and RGB Croma are mentioned.
On side of the box, there is a short comparison between Razor Viper and Viper mini.
On the backside, more features are mentioned which we discuss step-wise. Other than that mouse comes with a 2-year warranty.
Box Contents:
After opening the box, we get a Razor mouse, a large user manual, and a razer sticker.
Looks:
At first look, the mouse is very small-sized. Almost completely for better grip, it is made of black rough plastic material that provides average budget mouse feelings instead of premium feelings and looks.
The overall mouse is in linear shape. On the front, the mouse comes with left and right clicks with a rubber textured scroll wheel and the DPI switch is present just below the scroll wheel.
Click buttons are separated from the lower body with a shiny plastic groove.
RGB logo is present on the front lower side on which RGB backlit is illuminate.
Side buttons are present on the left side that are made with the same plastic and there is no rubber grip on the sides.
On the lower side, two mouse feet and in center maximum 8500 DPI optical sensor and the transparent strip is present for RGB backlit.

Wire:
The mouse comes with a 2-meter fabric braided and Razer in the title this wire the speed flex cable and at its end USB Jackk is present.
The wire is attached to the mouse like this that it applies a minimum drag force on the mouse.
Comfort Level:
As the mouse is small-sized then it is difficult or uncomfortable to use with palm grip, especially for large hands.
Other than that mouse with a claw grip can be saily used but in long gaming sessions hands feel pain.
To reach the side button is easy in claw grip but from large to medium hands in palm grip it is almost impossible.
The shape of the mouse is linear so it can be used in the left hand still it is difficult to use side buttons with the left hand.
Mouse on flat surfaces especially on mouse pad provide freely and smooth movements and due to being ultra-lightweight, no friction effect is felt.
Viper Mini Weight:
The most noticeable thing is its lightweight which is 61 grams according to too official specifications.
Buttons:
Total 6 programable buttons are present on the mouse and they can be remapped through Software. All buttons are with medium resistance but the feel of left and right click is most like to other Razor mice. According to Razor optical switches are used in these clicks that used infrared light beams. Because of it, its response time is just .02 milliseconds with 50 million lifetimes.
Scroll Wheel:
Mouse scroll wheel resistance is more than other mice that can not be noticed on normal use.
RGB Backlit:
Razor always dominates in RGB backlit and luckily RGB backlit of this mouse on mouse logo and lower side will illuminate right after connecting it with PC that can be customized through software. RGB backlit no doubt is decent and especially provides a good gaming look from the lower back on the mouse pad.
Control Software:
Through button remap, clicky buttons can be set on multiple functions including Keyboard keys, Macros, Profile Switch, in short, can be set on any function.
The scroll wheel, keyboard mouse, macros and multimedia functions can be assigned and save on different profiles if possible.
In the performance tab, 5 preset values can be changed from the DPI switch which is present on the mouse. Other than that 125, 500, and 1000 polling rates selection is also possible.
In the lighting tab, the brightness of backlit, Switch off or on is possible.
In the calibration tab, the sensor can be calibrated according to the mouse pad and maximum potential can be achieved.
Gaming Performance:
In gaming especially for first-person shooter titles, the mouse is accurate. Due to being lightweight and good mouse feet movement in any direction is swift and smooth.
Mouse click latency is just .02 millisecond, so button press and effect is instantaneous. I cannot feel any kind of delay and lag.
During gaming in a claw grip, side buttons are easily reachable and comfortable.
Comparison with other Mice:
It is important to include that the feel of mouse clicks and are responsible and better than Body, Redragon, and other budget gaming mouses.
Variants:
These mice in 3 different variants are available and I strongly recommended you to choose a mouse according to the size of the hand. Because mouse feeling is uncomfortable in gaming if it has better specifications.
Price:
This mouse will cost you just around 36 USD and most users buy this product because of its price tag to get Razor product at a competitive price.
Conclusion of full review:
After a detailed test, I come with the result that this mouse is not designed for every user. It is not comfortable and good for large to medium size of hands, especially in long gaming sessions.
So if you want to buy the Razer Viper series then select the mouse according to your hand size to get complete benefits and features.
