Creativity. It’s something I’m struggling with right now. Picking up the camera is hard especially when I don’t feel inspired. But I know I have to. I have to force myself, if I want to achieve my goals and dreams with photography.
I’d rather be known for my art than my software, my creativity than a set of rules.

How many times have I put myself through the pain of picking up my camera when I didn’t want to, only to pull the reels of film from the developing tank and feeling a sense of great satisfaction.
Especially when it comes to portraiture, I’m bored of the shots I take. It looks like everyone' else’s on Instagram. I read somewhere, when you’re bored of your work and plateau, that it’s just an opportunity to grow even more. To push through that wall of uninspired creativity. So that’s exactly what I started to do yesterday.
I’m trying to gravitate to a much more editorial style, and find my own style in the process. Hopefully in successful.
I’ll leave you with a few pictures, I’ve taken recently that I’m proud of.
Let me hear your stories, of fighting through this mental block.

I exclusively shoot film, with absurd cameras. Recently set up a darkroom as well, so I’m super happy to start printing.
