As people become more aware of asexuality, I think that things like this are becoming more common (accusations or assumptions of asexuality). This is something that often happens to disabled folks. There is a stereotype that were are all asexual. This makes being an asexual disabled person more complicated.

(Sorry for the delay in replying. As too often happens for me, I wanted to give your comment a thoughtful reply and then other stuff took over my schedule and I lost track of it for a bit.)
