Another day, another game in this years playoffs. Tonight at home, the Boston Celtics (1–2) take on the Miami Heat (2–1) in a game 4 bout. To keep things short; Miami’s defense can be a MAJOR obstacle. In an interesting stat found about the Heat, they’ve actually won 2 quarters in this series. Taking a deeper look they won those quarters by no less than 21. If the Celtics want to overcome this squad in the series they will have to turn the tide and hit some shots. Tonight there will be a slight advantage to Boston as Tyler Herro has been ruled out, so in a sports universe somewhere those points will be missed.

For today’s play I’ll assume Miami makes a slight quarter run, but not as strong as they have in their wins. Being said, all eyes are on Max Strus’s Reb+Ast at 5.5 (-106). Between the value and opportunity I can see this being somewhat of a steal. Stat wise he has recorded o3.5 rebounds in 9 of his last 10 playoff games and has cleared 1.5 assists in 7/10. Specifically against Boston he is averaging 6.4 rebounds and assists. Based on tonight’s lineup he may see a role lesser than a scorer and more of a facilitator. No Herro and a bum knee Butler could open up spots for Bam, Lowry, and any other role player to shine and put this series out of reach.

On the other side, Jayson Tatum and company are in a prime spot to show that they can breeze past this team. He has stated that his play last game was unacceptable. Scoring only 10 points on 3–14 shooting opens up an avenue for him to display an offensive masterpiece tonight as well. For a slight sprinkle I may also take Jayson Tatum’s 40+ Points Prop (+1050). To give some narrative; he has scored 39+ in either Game 3 or Game 4 in the past 2 rounds. Since he missed out in Game 3 vs MIA I would hope he has a good shooting night.
