The Ignition team headed to Singapore for the first time this year for our second-ever crypto conference at #Token20249, following our debut in May in Hong Kong during #BitcoinAsia week. From hosting our very own event with Babylon to making appearances across different panels throughout the BTC-Eco Summit and more, we were proud to connect with some of the smartest minds in the ecosystem in person.
Ignition’s goal is to unlock Bitcoin’s growth potential. $FBTC, Ignition’s 1:1 pegged $BTC asset, allows Bitcoin to thrive across all blockchains, while addressing multiple verticals such as liquidity and security concerns. It is designed to be scalable and easily integrated into various yield enhancement strategies.

Ignite Bitcoin With Builders and Miners
Our team hosted our very own intimate Bitcoin event, alongside the team at Babylon, co-sponsored by Mantle, Cobo, BitcoinOS, APRO Oracle, BSquared Network, Lorenzo, Pell Network, iZUMi, and SatLayer. Dedicating a day solely to Bitcoin, we were joined by some of the most promising projects and leaders in the space.
Zuki Hong, our core contributor, delivered a keynote alongside Fisher Yu, CTO and Co-Founder of Babylon, and Discus Fish, CEO of Cobo.
She introduced $FBTC and highlighted our key Ignition $FBTC growth milestones, from its initial launch on the Ethereum network and Mantle Network on July 12, 2024, to its recent expansion to the BNB chain and acceptance by over 30 popular consumer applications partners.
She also revealed that in the first Babylon staking phase, 418 $FBTC (approximately $26.4M) were staked through Babylon LSTs from Bedrock, PumpBTC, and Solv Protocol!
The event also included two panels, where builders from Bitcoin ecosystem projects and industry leaders gathered to discuss the future of Bitcoin.
Panel 1 dived into what it takes to ‘’Ignite The Way to Bitcoin Yield?’’ featuring speakers from 0xVeryBigOrange, Cobo (Alex Zuo), Lorenzo (Matt Ye), APRO Oracle (Sawyer), and SatLayer (Luke Xie).
Key points mentioned in this panel included the importance of building greater Bitcoin yield opportunities in the ecosystem, spanning perpetuals or other forms of providing collateral with Bitcoin, to attract more users on board.
Panel 2, on the other hand, explored insights on how to ‘Ignite Multi-Chain Liquidity in Bitcoin DeFi’’, this time with speakers from Bedrock (Zhuling Chen), iZUMi (Jimmy Yin), BSquared Network (Arwen), Makoto (Pell Network), and BitcoinOS (Calvin Ferreira).
Highlights included the necessity of secure, fast, and efficient cross-chain transfers for Bitcoin-native assets, such as FBTC, and how builders are exploring solutions to the liquidity fragmentation for Bitcoin within the ecosystem and beyond.
Mantle Mixer
Ignition was also present at the Mantle Mixer as a co-sponsor for the event. The Mantle team has been a key strategic factor in our growth as core contributors, and we are proud to work closely together. Alongside delicious food and specially catered cocktails at one of the top bars worldwide in Singapore, guests were able to enjoy networking with attendees from the crypto industry, whether local or folks who traveled across the world
Other Appearances
Zuki Hong was also present at other events during the week, including Hashkey Space, Zulu Bitcoin Ecosystem Summit, and the BTC Eco-Summit, joining discussions surrounding the greater growth of DeFi yield cases on Bitcoin and more, through $FBTC by Ignition.
Ignition has hit a new milestone of over $200M in Total Value Locked since going live just a little over two months ago, which would not have been possible without all of your support!
