Warning: There Are Scammers In The FCoin Telegram Group!
As FCoin grows, it is now attracting scammers in its Telegram group. Select group of individuals are entering the official Telegram group with a hidden motive.
You may spot several fake admins — fake support members — using the FCoin logo as their display pic.
If you have been around the cryptocurrency space for a while, you can identify these scammers almost immediately.
Yet, as a community-driven platform, it is important to reinforce this point:
Always Protect Yourself From These Scammers
Here’s how you can do that:
Tip #1: Look At The “Admin” Tag
Most scammers in the FCoin channel are pretending to represent the official support team.
This is why it is always important to double-check the username and the tag next to it. Look for the “Admin” tag as there are half-a-dozen admins in the group working in different timezone.

Tip #2: Never Entertain Private Messages
In the past, several users have reported receiving message from strangers pretending to represent FCoin. In the private message, they request your information and even ask you to transfer ETH.

It could be anything — from asking your email address to asking you to transfer ETH into an account.
Whatever the case is, never entertain such private messages.
Tip #3: Report To The Official Admin
If you spot a scammer privately messaging you, inform the official admin to avoid confusion for other members.
There are various admins active in the official English and Chinese channel. Again, look at the tag.

FCoin Is All About You!
As a community-driven platform, FCoin is here to grow and stay with you.
So if you spot any other scammers and spammers in the community — inside Telegram and outsider — then feel free to report.
After all, a community is nothing without its members.
