I was one of the people that chose this answer. I used CoffeeScript extensively in the past and I love it. But then ES6 came and it contains most of the features that were reason for using CoffeeScript before.

So I think that the result in this poll does not mean that CoffeeScript is bad. It just outlived its purpose (to kickstart further development of JavaScript language) and is not relevant anymore.
