Fairleigh Dickinson’s Silberman College of Business is pleased to announce that we have four interns here to take over our social media platforms. We have combined a group of intelligent students who have experience working with social media in a variety of ways. We have assigned them to the following platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Youtube. Our goals consist of reaching more incoming students and keeping our students and alumni engaged. We hope to see higher audience rates across the board with the help of Gen Z’s ideas. Meet the interns:

(Left to Right) Becca Guidice, Jamie Bonaccorso, Adrienne DeFuria, and Abdulaziz Alrasheed

Becca Guidice, a psychology major with an education minor, graduated this May 2022

Adrienne DeFuria, a marketing major with expected graduation in May 2024

Jamie Bonaccorso, a marketing major with expected graduation in May 2023

Abdulaziz Alrasheed, a marketing major with expected graduation in May 2024

Here’s everything you need to know…

Adrienne DeFuria

Adrienne is a rising junior at FDU’s Florham campus come this Fall 2022. She is a marketing major who is interested in pursuing a career in branding or product marketing. Some of her passions include baking, playing volleyball, and hanging out with her friends. Three fun facts about Adrienne consist of her favorite food being penne vodka, playing 8 different sports throughout her life, and loves going to the beach. This internship sparked her interest because she has experience working with the Silberman team before and is said to have had, “such an enriching experience”. She also wanted to gain more experience applying her previous digital marketing knowledge to real-world scenarios. From this experience, she is hoping to better understand the fundamentals that go into digital media marketing and more specifically, social media marketing.

Becca Guidice

Becca is a Fairleigh Dickinson University graduate with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in education as of May 2022. She is looking to get into the field of social media management, as well as her side passions which include make-up artistry and content creation. She is an active user of Instagram and Tiktok where she creates lifestyle and fashion posts. She loves to learn about analytics and how the algorithm works across all social media platforms. Some fun facts include her extreme love for animals, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. A major reason why the Digital Dungeon internship appealed to her was to see how she could use her education from personal content creation; to boost engagement for Silberman’s social media platforms. She is hoping to see her ideas come to life and see the improvement in analytics.

Jamie Bonaccorso

Jamie is a rising senior at FDU’s Florham campus this Fall 2023. She majors in marketing and has plans to pursue a career within the marketing field. Although she doesn’t know her exact route for a future job, she is hoping to gain better insight into possible career paths through this experience. Her hobbies include going to the beach and spending quality time with her friends. A fun fact about Jamie is that her dad, brother, and sister are all alumni of Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was interested in this internship opportunity because she wanted to become educated from a digital marketing standpoint. She has worked as a marketing intern at a pharmaceutical company in the past but has an interest in exploring other industries. She jumped on this opportunity as it is a great way to learn about how different industries use marketing to their advantage. She wants to see how her background knowledge of this field could be used to improve engagement rates.

Abdulaziz “Aziz” Alrasheed

Aziz is a rising senior at FDU’s Metro campus this Fall 2023. He is a marketing major who has dreams to work in the marketing industry, specifically at Barstool Sports. His passion includes street photography in NYC, which he believes is the city that has the most to offer. He studied French and German when he was younger, although he does not remember it all now.

Aziz wanted to take part in this internship due to his previous experience with the people at Silberman College. He says, “I really loved the atmosphere of the work environment. Everyone is nice and willing to help students develop their skills.” He believed this opportunity was perfect because he was hesitant to work with new faces in hopes to get experience for his dream job. This is his first internship, so he felt his skills would be developed best working with familiar people at Silberman. He is hoping to learn from working within a team and also be able to educate them with what information he knows. He would like to get comfortable with the process of working with professionals and sharing ideas.
