Out Of The Way: Matchday Seven

Borehamwood 0 Wrexham 1
Goals: Reid (60)
What Happened?
A classic smash and grab at Meadow Park.
Christian Dibble denied Paul Benson and Bruno Andrade early doors.
Sam Wedgbury and Leo Smith pick up cheap yellow cards in a heartbeat.

Reid and Tums Massanka went agonisingly close.
Just 15 minutes into the second half and Wrexham took the lead.
Paul Rutherford’s corner hung at the near post and Reid connected sweetly with a header that gave Wood stopper Grant Smith no chance.

James Hurst then unleashed a rasping shot which forced Smith into a panicked punch before Reid again went close.
The hosts cranked up the pressure late on but Wrexham held on admirably to send 302 away fans home happy.

Dibble strengthened his credentials to be regarded as our Number One with another assured display.
He made a series of fine saves and managed not to get hit in the spuds like he did against Woking.
His old man will be proud as are we.

Mathew Donohoe — N. Not sure about those early bookings but he let the game go as much as he could. Nothing controversial.
