he orphanage that I went is called San Huda Chico ,it’s located in the city of Cuzco located in the southern part of Peru that is a country in South America. Cusco is very interesting itself because it has lots of touristic attractions such as Machu Picchu that is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. But in Cuzco city you can also find archaeological sites such as “Sacsayhuaman” the temple of the Sun which is awesome to see. This orphanage is located in Cuzco city right next to the airport of Cusco (the only one).
The sun was burning and it was melting hot outside. We were in the bus and excitement run through my blood, I was dying of excitement to meet the kid which I was going to play with. I came out of the bus rushing to get to the Orphanage San Hudas Chico that is located right next to the airport of Cusco (the only one). We entered the building and a band was waiting for us with their amazing music, turned and saw all the girls and boys waiting for us to come. I was thrilled with excitement to see them. I couldn’t wait to play with them. The band finished playing and kids were assigned to each one of us. My kid’s name was Antonia and I couldn’t wait to meet her. When I went to find her I was delighted to see how sweet and pretty she was. We went inside and we ate. While eating I realized that I had so much in common with a girl that I had just met. I realized in that moment all the opportunities I have and everything that is given to me in order to be successful and to be the best that I can be. I also realized that I had to be thankful for the amazing and beautiful family that I had. The rest of the day was incredible and I had tons of fun. Antonia and I played with the hula-hoops, and we also played uno and a bunch of other amazing games. When it was time to split up into age groups, Antonia was not in the age group that my p.e class was assigned, so we had to split up. After I left her with her age group she asked me not to leave her again and suddenly a tear dropped down my cheek .I promised her that I was always going to be there for her but that I couldn’t stay with her.

Crying I went to the bathroom, cleaned my face and I was ready to present my game. I presented a game called “Duck, Duck whatever”. This game consists in having a person in the outside of the circle formed by people, calling duck to the people that are sitting in the circle and when the person that is outside of the circle calling duck, duck, duck feels that she/he wants to call on somebody she/he has to call an animal name to the person and, start running around until she/he sits on the spot of the other player or is caught by the player who is running around. It was really interesting to see how the kids adapted to a new game and played it like it was a game that they had always played. After that it was time for us to leave, which was difficult for me because of what I had promised Antonia before. Lots of tears started running down my cheeks and I couldn’t control them or stop them. The girl came over to me and whispered softly in my ear “I will never forget you”. After that I knew that it was a moment that I would remember for the rest of my life and that I would never forget her. After that we started walking in the direction of the big buses and after we were in the bus other people started crying and suddenly I was not the only one.
This was a very difficult moment for me and for most of my friends and people around were trying to stop us from crying but we couldn’t help it. The rest of the bus trip all I could hear was side conversations and tons of crying sounds and what I could see was tears and red noses and some people with worried faces.
