I am reviewing this as a stand-alone film because I have never seen any of the original Star Trek movies or series so I can’t exactly comment on those what I thought of this film was that it wasn’t bad I mean it was quite slow at times and not too much action but the acting was quite good by the entire cast now I don’t know too much about their characters but the performances were good and it wasn’t poorly made or anything like that the special effects were great this wasn’t hard to understand the story was pretty straightforward I know a lot of people who are fans of the original series, Next Generation and the films didn’t enjoy it and they have their reasons but as a stand-alone it’s quite enjoyable I think of it as that because like I said this is my first Star Trek film I will definitely watch Into Darkness soon as well I hear that’s the best one.

I love this movie, and this is totally different kind of movie than the Alien. James Cameron’s Aliens is a great movie in general, except one character screw the whole film up, NEWT, the little girl. Her screams make me nuts from the moment it starts, and she screams always. I don’t think screaming is a good expression of scaring film like this and scream make the film like a cheap c-grade scary movie, and this is contrast to the Alien silent-horror which makes the first film classic. On the other hand, all other elements in the film are great. The story are great, Actors/Actress are great, the design is great, music is also great. If you could ignore these stupid screaming (which I couldn’t), you will enjoy and love this classic horror science fiction movie.

This is the cinema that got me hooked on Asian revenge movies. Oldboy (Oldeuboi) is an original film that shows what happens when a man’s freedom is taken away and he doesn’t know why, or by whom. He is suddenly thrust back into society where he must track down the person that took away his freedom. Along the way come multiple plot twists and surprises that you just don’t see coming. The writing is well done, I especially enjoyed Thurman’s dialogue, the well-written dialogue and the impressive way that she delivers that dialogue all comes together to make something great. I like 300 movie because shows how the people at that time fight and how important the war for them and what customs they had, for me it was very amazing how 300 men survived an army like the Persian army, the Persian army was very dangerous they had the best archers, the Persian army had many attack strategies they fired an arrow cloud and left only injured and a few men without injures. But the Spartans where very smart and they made a big shield with they own shields and it really helped a lot. Only a few men died and they used strategy and the Spartan train to win the battle.

The Matrix film is one giant plothole based take on some philosophical issues, that has proved to be hugely influential. Quite original for a Hollywood flick, it is often given more credit than it deserves. The giant plot opening is that utilizing individuals as batteries has neither rhyme nor reason. Contrived in its core, it, however, delivers many themes and is a decent movie, and the influence it has ups its rating a bit. In any case, let us not get over ourselves, this isn’t Terminator or other such diamond, not by any stretch.
5. Star Wars: Episode V — The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Empire Strikes Back is widely called the best Star Wars film. It certainly contains lots of the iconic moments from the series and all the best lines. Fisher, Hamill, and Ford all have eased into their leadership roles and there is enough action for them all to be involved, even if after the first act they don’t spend much time together. There are great fight scenes and technical effects that more than make up for the moments where it all gets a bit sci-fi jargon-heavy. This is the best Star Wars film, Possibly.
4. The Dark Knight (2008)
I am not a big Batman fan. But I finally watched, I was hoping for Darker, but for a Batman film it was action-packed. It was like Point Break in Gotham but was entertaining. Ledger was good but not the hype performance everyone freaked about. Good Joker, but he didn’t scare me. OH well. Good cinema, totally worth watching. I think Bale is a good Batman but I really like Keaton. I wonder what a new Tim Burton remake would look like with all of the CGI available now that was not around when he made the first Batman with Keaton. I say we petition that. Get Burton on another, really dark one.

In The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger play a menacing cyborg from the future. His mission was to terminate the woman who held the key to the future. Now, In Terminator 2: Judgement Day, that change. In this sequel to the 1984 smash hit, Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as the Terminator. But, this time, his mission is to protect a teenager from another terminator. The new terminator is played by Robert Patrick. What’s unique about Patrick’s performance is that his character is made out of liquid metal. Every chase after chase, the action gets better and better. Arnold Schwarzenegger is terrific as The Terminator, once again, this time playing a hero and, somewhat of a father figure to Edward Furlong, the actor who plays John Connor. Linda Hamilton is also terrific as Sarah Connor, the mother of the future. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s performance as the Terminator is amazing.
Avatar is a one of the best action and science fiction movie. The twelve-year wait for James Cameron’s fantasy feature was well worth it in every sense of the word. Words cannot describe the beauty of this film, both in scenery and story. Whether or not you enjoy watching fantasy films, you must go see it. Hopefully James Cameron is already preparing to make a sequel Avatar . I thought that the blue people would be initially hard to swallow, but they have a sense of beauty to them that you can only get by getting connected to these people from the story and everything that makes them and the film interesting.
1. Die Hard (1988)
best action movies ever made. Bruce Willis plays his part to perfection. The story unfolds in a simple and understated way. The suspense builds very well to a crescendo. There have been many movies after this that tried to emulate the style, but this is the film to go to for action thrills. Highly recommended, must watch. Best Action Movies Of All Time.
