So sad. So true. I have only recently learned that any Black man had these thoughts. Namely conscious brothers in the Movement. That’s not to say that others still carry the “ooh girl yo thighs” glare, but, some have flipped the mirror AND the script to evaluate themselves as they evaluate larger society. Black women are angry because they’ve been ‘assed-out’ by virtually every man (and many women) they know. This is just one tragic example. May she Rest In Peace.
