Here is a picture of our room in the Hostel Avalon. Yes, we pushed two twin beds together. If you know me well, you know I’m a cuddler. The outside doesn’t look like much in this photo but our room actually overlooks a church with a big bell that goes off every hour of the day. It’s only slightly bothersome. The street below brings sounds of children playing in the afternoon and drinks singing in the wee hours of the morning. Despite popular belief, Dublin bars do stay open until 2AM; 4AM on the weekdays. In this picture you can see a blue wall but we are facing a pretty magenta wall. The ceilings are high and the beds are quite comfortable.
