Dive into Pandas(AI Saturdays Nairobi)

This weeK’s meetup happened in Utu house in Spring valley, Nairobi, Where the Mara Moja Start up is hosted among other startups. Utu house is an incubator for both AI and blockchain startups. The main agenda was to go through Pandas and play around with data sets and manipulate them with different commands. Aside from being an educative event it also doubled up as an exposure trip to identify the different activities happening in the AI space in Nairobi.

Pandas ended up being an exciting experience as we explored how to create a Series and Data frames, how to import different data files (csv, Xlsx.. etc). This was a hands on exercise with lots of coding on jupyter notebook. There were a few bugs along the way as usual but we tackled them. By now the team is ready for a real machine learning challenge. Looking forward to next week.
