Thanks for sharing the ‘don’t dare to rest’ argument here. Like the angle!

What I was missing, too, were the typical issues regarding fractured terminologies and missperceptions of different UX roles, as well as issues working with personas across divisions to eliminate the ‘one user’ dead end thinking by fostering collaboration through storytelling.

Also, I read some similar articles about Strategic Designers being the next level of Designers to hire, because of the reasons you mentioned, adding strategy, business modeling, etc. to the basic skill set of this new fancy breed of collaborateur.

And I think this wording/construct fits these requirements better, because it leaves the ‘haptic output delivery paradigm’ (product) behind and focuses on outcome (revenue).
