Cryptoprofile’s ICO is live! I hope you haven’t missed it, just in case you have not participated yet, here are some basics regarding completing KYC verification and Investing in Cryptoprofile’s ICO. To begin with, Cryptoprofile is a Singaporean informational website founded in June 2017 by Infochain holdings Pte. Ltd. The website offers accurate snapshots of popular tokens and coins and a range of crypto-related news, bounties, and financial information. The company intends to offer marketing services to ICO projects using a superior marketing strategy that will see it refund full marketing fee to its clients- meaning ICOs will spend almost nothing on marketing! And yes, they’ve proved it can be done. With a great team of highly qualified investment, consulting and marketing professionals, they’re certainly confident of their idea

But how do you get to invest with Cryptoprofile?

Cryptoprofile Tokens (CP) can only be bought through its KYC platform called Ceito. The purchase can be done with ETH, BTC or USD.

Ceito is an integrated platform that enables ICO teams to execute their fundraising in a safe and compliant manner. It’s also a one-stop shop where backers can find projects they’d like to invest in.

To participate in the Cryptoprofile’s ICO, you’ll first need to complete the KYC on Ceito. KYC guidelines are meant to prevent Cryptoprofile from criminal elements who may want to use their platform for money laundering activities.

Here’s a step by step process on how to sign up, complete KYC and invest on CP tokens

Step 1: Creating an account.

You can easily create an account by visiting https://dashboard.ceito.io/register . Fill in your details on the page that pops up and hit “Create a new account”

Once you have completed signing up, simply sign into the platform by filling in your details and hitting sign in

Step 2: Complete the KYC procedure

ICO are increasingly asking their clients to provide some sort of personal data for confirming their identities. Cryptoprofile is not any different. Once you have created your account, please log in to your dashboard to complete KYC verification. Click on “My Profile” tab to access your verification portal.

Ceito has made the KYC process quite effortless. Having partnered with Jumio which has provided identity checks and verification to a tune of 100 million clients and tens of financial institutions, you’ll certainly be treated to a true world-class verification experience.

Ceito’ KYC process is almost instant. The dashboard is automated; upon submitting your verification documents, the process will complete the required checks within 15 minutes. The average waiting time is around 10 minutes. A delay could only occur if you submit unclear verification documents. To avoid repeating this process, ensure that the documents submitted are clear and readable.

Please note that if you’re not willing to complete the KYC verification or any other conditions specified by Cryptoprofile, your tokens will not be released once the ICO comes to a stop. Consequently, the money you invested will be returned to you.

With Ceito, backers only need to go through the KYC verification once. Thereafter, backers can back multiple projects posted on the platform without undergoing another screening process.

Step 3: On the dashboard, click on “Projects” and Select “Cryptoprofile”

This should lead to a page like the one below. To make your contribution, click on “Back This project” at the bottom right of the page

You should be able to access your contribution information on the next page.

On the Cryptoprofile project page, you will be given a unique ETH and BTC address. The platform allows you to transfer your ETH or BTC from an external wallet or exchange. Your corresponding CP tokens will be allocated to you once the transfer is confirmed. Usually, the process takes between 5 to 60 minutes depending on the network load.

The price of your ETH or BTC is obtained by calculating the average price of the 5 major exchanges in the world during the time of transfer. The price of a CP token is $0.10. It is also important to note that the minimum contribution is an equivalent of $500 during the presale and $100 in the public sale.

Once you have received the CP tokens, do not forget to update your personal ETH address that will receive your CP tokens

Withdrawing tokens from Ceito

Once the ICO ends, all the CP tokens will be distributed by Ceito into backers’ personal ETH addresses that were earlier submitted to the platform. The timing of token distribution will be chosen at random. However, all contributors will have the CP tokens within 14 days after the public sale ends. For this reason, it is important to provide an accurate address to avoid losing your tokens.

Is your personal data safe on Ceito?

Cryptoprofile’s commitment to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of personal information

Cryptoprofile acknowledges that collecting and storing personal data comes with immense responsibility. For this reason, it’s KYC process and data management mechanisms fully comply with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act of 2012 (PDPA) which governs the way companies collect, store, utilize, and disclose personal data. It is important to note that in order to operate in Singapore, fintech companies are required to comply with KYC laws, which necessitates them to collect personal data in accordance with PDPS standards. As a result, the KYC process is not only important to fintech companies but fully sanctioned by the law as well. Moreover, Singapore advocates for, and supports the ambitious use of technology to transform business and create real value for all its citizens.

In complying with PDPA standards, Cryptoprofile ensures that;

· That it notifies clients on how their data is collected, used or disclosed

· That proper consent is granted before data is collected, used or disclosed

· That it will not use the collected information for purposes other than that defined

· That it will provide information, upon request, on how client’s data has been used over a period of 12 months

· That each client’s data is complete and accurate

· And that data is secured from unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure

Through its internal data privacy framework, Cryptoprofile knows exactly how customers’ data flow within the company, and more importantly how it is used. It also acknowledges that data may sometimes be vulnerable to breaches. As a result, the company also conducted a Privacy Impact Assessment including measures such as data masking, loss prevention as well as user rights monitoring.

To ensure zero compromises on regulation, Cryptoprofile looks beyond just Singapore’s data protection laws. It has considered a wide range of industry-specific obligations and legislations regarding data protection.

Unrelenting attention to security

Cryptoprofile, therefore, assures its clients that its KYC platform-Ceito- is a reliable and a compliant solution for all their KYC needs. Rather than have personal data scattered across different platforms, Ceito aggregates this information in one secure platform for easy data protection. The entire verification systems (including data centers) are tamper-proof and hence cannot be tampered by third parties.
