The Secrets To MrBeast’s Success
3 principles you can learn and apply to your life to reach success
Last year, I came across one of MrBeast’s YouTube videos. Ever since, I have been watching a lot of his videos. I have become a fan.
For those that aren’t familiar with MrBeast’s YouTube channel, he mainly does videos where he donates to people in need and a lot of fun challenges as well.
At the time I am writing this article, his channel has 28.7 million subscribers.
His last five videos (again, at the time of writing this article) currently have 10, 18, 19, 21, and 26 million views, respectively.
Through time, I have noticed patterns on MrBeast’s videos that I believe led him to his success, which I call the principles.
He may or may not be aware that he is using these principles intentionally; however, we can still learn from them.
Thus, I wanted to share my analysis with you. So you can apply these principles to your life as well.
Think Outside The Box
A recurring theme of MrBeast’s videos is that they are big ideas.
For instance, in the video “Last To Take Hand Off $1,000,000 Keeps It,” there are four contestants, and the last one who takes their hands of a million dollars kept it.
Wait! A million dollars?
Yup, you read that right.
Or let’s examine another one of his older videos, “I Put 100 Million Orbeez In My Friend’s Backyard,” which currently has 73 million views, where he literally does just that.
Now, you might think:
But I don’t have all the money to implement these kinds of ideas.
Well, MrBeast’s videos weren’t as costly at the beginning, from my perspective.
In the video “Counting To 100,000 In One Video,” he didn’t have a big set or a production crew. It was him sitting on his desk, counting 100,000.
That video currently has 18.2 million views.
The point is that, in essence, he thought outside of the box and made these videos as unique as possible. Thus, standing out and catching the attention of his viewers.
So, here are some things you can do and ask yourself to apply this principle:
- Research the market for similar products.
- How can I make what I am working on stand out?
- What resources do I have and can use something people have never seen?
Once you have these things figured out, then you can proceed to make something people haven’t seen before and gain a lot of attention.
Create Win-Win Situations
Another common theme in MrBeast’s videos is that there are win-win situations present among his videos.
For instance, the challenge videos.
The winner gets a cash prize, and MrBeast receives the content for his YouTube channel.
By applying this principle, both parties win, which spreads the benefits for everyone.
Thus, both sides grow from the situation.
Here are some ways you can create win-win situations:
- Identify the value you give in a situation and what you receive for it.
- Recognize the other side’s interests and needs.
- Ask the person what does he expect from the situation.
By identifying the value, you give and what you receive, you are making sure that both sides benefit something out of the situation.
Now, by recognizing the other side’s interests, you can use this information to create ways where the other side benefits something that they need that you can offer, of course.
The key is to create a balanced situation where everyone wins. By applying this principle, you may create a balanced relationship for the long term.
Also, you may be able to sustain these relationships, as everyone leaves happy from the situation.
Give And Spread Positivity
He helps people in need and gives back to others.
Now, I believe that to receive; you need to give. That is, you need to add value to other people’s lives, whereas it is money, knowledge, inspiration, or even entertainment.
You can see this principle in action in some of the comments on his videos, which are positive. Also, people share his videos, which spreads positivity on the Internet.
The initiative’s name is Team Trees, and the goal is to plant 20 million trees.
This initiative received a lot of support from a lot of people, including Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, and other YouTubers such as Pewdiepie.
So, essentially, MrBeast spread positivity, and it manifested in support from a lot of people. People identified with the cause and reached to help. Thus, the mission was accomplished.
Soon, 20 million trees will be planted on our planet.
What a great accomplishment!
Here are ways you can use this principle:
- Think of ways you can offer value to others.
- Write down three ways you can give back to your community and do it.
By thinking of ways you can offer value to others, you will be able to come up with ideas to create something that will benefit or even improve a problem in society.
It can be an app, a book, or even a YouTube channel were to share information with others.
Then, you may receive, whereas it’s money and support from other people. Remember, if you want to be successful in your niche, you might need the assistance of other people at some time or another.
So, give to the world, you never know who you could help.
Thinking outside the box can help you come up with innovative ideas. You can use the resources that you have and think of ways to stand out.
Creating win-win situations may help you in your relationships, as you will find ways to make the situation beneficial for everyone involved. Thus, it may also assist you in maintaining balanced relationships.
By giving and spreading positivity, you might receive the same back. As a result, this assistance may help you in your mission, even if it means making the world a better place.
