Unity is my Affair
To the wild souls
We add a pair
Needing not much more
Than the freshest air
We walk on unstepped soil
With tender care
Living more than our peers would ever dare
Comfort in America there is to spare
Sisters and brothers, I can not bare
To watch Earth bleed is no longer rare
Yet we keep pulling on the tear
While we punish lives for what they wear
It aches my heart to be aware
But compassion is becoming rare
Convinced our whole lives that we are the next heir
Entitlement to consumerism, we’re boxed in a square
To end the ego, that is my prayer
So we can unite for the love we share
To begin, the question is where
Fight the fear, it’s our time to scare
